A two-part conversation series with Alex Salmond & Jon Snow and Alistair Darling & Alan Taylor

As the 2014 Scottish referendum approaches, we are holding a two-part conversation series with high-profile representatives from both sides of the independence debate. All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards our work supporting street papers in Scotland and around the world to alleviate poverty and promote social justice.

The first event featuring First Minister Alex Salmond and Channel 4 News presenter (and INSP Ambassador) Jon Snow was a sell-out success!

The second event featuring "Better Together" leader and former UK Chancellor Alistair Darling in conversation with Herald and Sunday Herald writer Alan Taylor is on Thursday 6th December.  As well as the hot topic of Scottish independence, the conversation will also cover social justice and media independence. There will also be time for questions from the floor.

The events are being organised in partnership with The Herald and the University of Strathclyde as part of their involvement with the Fraser of Allander Lecture Series.

Date: Thursday 6th December 2012
Location: The Barony Hall, University of Strathclyde, Rottenrow East Glasgow G1 1XQ
Time: 1930
