The International Street Paper Awards

Established in 2008, the International Street Paper Awards were created to highlight the outstanding achievements of independent street paper journalism and their contribution to social justice, both on a local and global scale. The awards are held every second year as part of our annual conference.

This year, the awards will be held in Munich on 1st August, as part of our 17th annual conference. We are pleased to announce two new awards categories for 2013 that will recognise street papers for their effectiveness as social enterprises and their work in supporting homeless people.
